Nineteen years building commercial operations across Asia-Pacific —
from greenfield country setups to US$20M+ contracts with the world's
shipowners, EPC contractors and energy OEMs.
I build and run commercial operations in markets where the deal is complex,
the buying committee is large, and the customer speaks in tonnes, metres and
weather windows. I have built a country business from zero,
hired and coached the team that ran it, and personally closed contracts
above US$20M with VP, SVP and C-level counterparts at shipowners,
yards, EPC contractors and renewables OEMs.
My work sits at the intersection of safety and operations — the
two functions that decide whether heavy cargo moves, and the same two functions
that decide whether new technology gets adopted at sea.
Experience
Sector Head — Renewables, East Asia
2024 — 2026
DHL Global Forwarding
Owned commercial capture and execution for renewables OEM clients including Envision Energy and SANY Heavy Industry, running the full APAC go-to-market motion from lead generation through contract close.
Personally closed multi-year logistics agreements exceeding US$20M, negotiating directly with VP, SVP and C-level stakeholders at client headquarters.
Chartered MPP, bulk and deck-cargo tonnage; negotiated BIMCO charter parties — Supplytime, Heavycon, Bargehire, GENCON — owning the commercial cycle from bid to award to delivery.
Delivered ~40 project-cargo voyages over two years under a ~US$60M budget, with 10–12% cost savings through carrier optimisation and route engineering.

Open to regional commercial leadership roles across APAC.
Particularly where maritime, offshore or heavy-lift operations meet technology, and where a region needs building rather than inheriting.
